Hand painted yellow and white floral earrings measuring 1.5 x 2.1 inch.
"Oya" is a traditional Anatolian lacework used to express feelings. For centuries, Oya motifs were a way of expression for women in male dominant villages. Flowers were often used in these motifs and each design told a different story with different struggles. It was a way of escaping the social pressures that were experienced by women. This collection incorporates the Oya motifs; its flowers and colors, as it tells a story of its own.
Earrings are made of enamel, gold and brass.
