A one time publicist, Miriam Alvarez decided to step in a new direction and explore her creative disquiet through her jewelry creations. Drawn to the allure of Lisbon, she found herself in Portugal learning and excelling in the traditional craft of jewelry-making. Her label, Pena Jewels, founded back in 2011 is now based in Spain - but the original Lisbon vibe still remains in every new collection.
